The 3970 was created in the mid-80s, at a time when perpetual calendar chronographs were scarce. With it, a standard for all modern perpetual calendars was established. This particular configuration features German day and month indicators, and the watch is powered by the Calibre CH 27-70 Q based on the Lemania calibre 2320. Seldom seen in white gold with a black dial, the watch is in exceptional condition and is accompanied by a full complement of original materials.

Nowadays, choosing whether to have a chronograph or not is a matter of taste, rather than a question of functionality. It is a choice imbued with romanticism and nostalgia for the past.
