Here is an early Series 3* with a red gold case and hands. It is only the second example of the series to be offered on the market – A Collected Man having sold the first, cased in platinum, a few months ago. Delivered in 2019, this watch features a 40mm case with a silver dial adorned with engine-turned patterns and engraved Roman numerals. The retrograde date elegantly incorporates an eminently useful complication with the thoroughly traditional aesthetic the independent maker has championed. The manually wound calibre features intricate hand-crafted floral engravings on the three-quarter bridge, as well as on the balance cock.

Horology isn’t about standing still and accepting things as they are. It’s about pushing things forward and making small improvements wherever we can.
