Famous for their highly-functional pilots’ and navigators’ timepieces - tool watches are very-much in the International Watch Co’s DNA. The IWC Ingénieur SL, or “Engineer’ (ref. 1832), has few rivals in that regard. Part of an iconic breed of luxury sports watches from the 1970s, designed by Gérald Genta, the Ingénieur SL completes a famous trilogy of “Jumbo” wristwatches, alongside Patek Philippe Nautilus and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
