Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox World Time Alarm | Cal. 815 | steel
|Model:||Memovox World Time - Cal. 815|
|Case size:||36 mm|
|Bracelet material:||brown lizard|
It is from circa 1960s, has a cream outer dial and a rotating silver inner dial to set the alarm, fuelled by a dual barrel movement. It has applied index markers, steel hands and a blue steel hand for the seconds. The inner dial is divided into 12 time zones, each zone inscribed with two cities of the same time, but with a twelve-hour difference.
The watch carries the in-house Calibre 815, beating 18,000 A/h, at its heart. This famous bumper automatic movement is the first automatic alarm movement by the company and the first automatic watch with a repeater alarm. This stunning watch comes on a brown lizard strap. As a vintage watch, we cannot warranty its current water resistance.
Viewings can be arranged in Central London by appointment.
