Helsinki | two
This grey nubuck Helsinki two-watch pouch, is designed to be a secure, slim and versatile travel accessory, with a modern twist.
A Collected Man has always been fond of Helsinki’s restrained version of Art Nouveau, and it was one of its buildings (a former Nokia cable factory) whose colours are reflected in our Helsinki accessories. Its grey tone adds a certain sportiness to watches, and has quickly become one of our favourite straps to match with dress watches.
Produced using a firm external frame and hard-wearing taurillon nubuck leather (cut from the very best part of the hide), it's tanned deep grey in colour, then, through a process of sanding, is given its soft, tactile feel. Secured by a semi-concealed, coil zip in matching colour, this keeps the pouch svelte and comfortable.
The two-part interior has a supple, light grey suede lining, while an inner divider provides ample cushioning. The watches on the inside are kept neatly within their deep recesses by a strong snap closure, allowing for easy access. The recess should comfortably fit pieces with case sizes up to 45 mm, while the recess is 12mm in depth. Please note that these pouches were designed with watches on straps in mind, and may not accommodate watches on bracelets.
Size: 17 x 8.5 x 3.5 cm (6.7 x 3.25 x 1.5 inch)
Sourced from the finest tanneries in France and Italy, handcrafted in France and Belgium and then passing through a strict quality control process, this nubuck zip pouch is supplied to us by Molequin.
Like all leather goods, travel pouches and rolls benefit from a small amount of care and attention to extend their lives. Suitable cloths, brushes and shampoos may cure unwelcome odours or blemishes, and consider storing them in a dry, enclosed space, when not in use.
