Dark Grey Nubuck
A Collected Man has always been fond of Helsinki’s restrained version of Art Nouveau, and it was one of its buildings (a former Nokia cable factory) whose colours are reflected in this strap. While the grey colour with brownish undertones adds a certain sportiness, we feel it matches modern dress watches like Patek Philippe, and goes especially well with F. P. Journe's fantastic pieces, like the Chronomètre Bleu.
Produced using a hard-wearing taurillon nubuck leather tanned deep-grey in colour, Helsinki is created from the very best part of the hide. Then, through a production process of sanding, it is given its soft, tactile feel.
Sourced from the finest tanneries in France and Italy, handcrafted in France and Belgium, and then passing through a strict quality control process, this nubuck strap comes to us from Molequin.
